カール・カストロ（1986年生まれ）は、絵画、織物、写真などの様々なメディアで制作し、アート、デザイン、映画などの分野を領域横断するアーティストです。これまで組織（インスティテューション）の記憶や、現代の問題、コミュニティベースのプロジェクトに関する展覧会に参加するだけでなく、展覧会デザインやキュレーションも手がけています。カストロはアテネオ・デ・マニラ大学で教えるほか、デザイナーとして文化や学術系のブックデザインやフィリピン映画のポスターを手掛けるなど様々な領域で活動しています。
